Sound Familiar? You had a great "Saturday Family Day" at home planned with nothing to do but sleep in and make breakfast together. Somehow it quickly became filled with to-do lists and laundry. And another day has gone by when the kids just sat in front of the tv alone. Or worse - desperate for your attention, they got under foot and quarrelled with you all day long.

All I can say is "You are not alone".

One of our biggest reasons we started to actively seek out more time travelling with our kids was because of this phenomenon. The greatest intentions would turn into another tiring day working away at a to-do list that was getting longer faster than we could mark things off of it.
